Founded in 1882, the Royal Hamilton Amateur Dinghy Club is the world’s only ‘royal’ dinghy club! Dedicated to sailing, we are home to Bermuda’s largest junior sailing fleet and offer year-round sailing instruction to juniors and adults. We also participate in and sponsor many sailing regattas and events throughout the year.

The Royal Hamilton Amateur Dinghy Club offers a number of perks for members, including Wednesday Night sailing events, Friday Pub Night dinners, on-site snooker and meeting rooms, a diversified marina with over 100 berths, canoe and kayak storage and more. We are partnered with the Bermuda Tourism Authority.

For boat-owning members, RHADC offers: Marina berths and temporary alongside docking, Swing moorings in Red Hole, & On-site marina support services (such as water, ice, and boat park/storage options).

What amenities are available at the clubhouse?

Situated on the eastern end of Hamilton Harbour, the clubhouse features Dining & Bars, Event Spaces, and Family Amenities: Car parking lots for members, a junior members' lounge (for children 10+), and a family-friendly social environment.

How do I become a member?

RHADC offers various membership categories, including Family, Social, and Boating/Sailing memberships. Applications typically require a proposer and seconder from the existing membership base.

Does RHADC have reciprocal club privileges?

Yes. Active members enjoy reciprocal rights and privileges with various affiliated yacht clubs both locally in Bermuda and internationally.
